Jeff Hardy began his professional wrestling career at only 16 years old, wrestling Razor Ramon on an episode of Monday Night Raw. Over his nearly 30 year career, Hardy grew into the ultimate fan favorite, with his risk-taking style and creativity making him one of the most popular wrestlers of all time.
A 6-time Heavyweight Champion and a 12-time Tag Champion with his brother Matt, Hardy shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon!
Since 1984 every wrestling promoter has tried to beat Vince McMahon and the World Wrestling Federation unsuccessfully except one, Eric Bischoff. From a “C-Team Announcer” to the President of World Championship Wrestling, Eric did it all! The nWo, Monday Night Nitro, and most importantly beating Vince not once, but 83 times in a row!
My World with Jeff Jarrett takes listeners on a journey through Jarrett’s illustrious Hall of Fame career as an in-the ring, main-event professional wrestler, to a promoter and company owner. Along with co-host Conrad Thompson, wrestling’s self-proclaimed “King of the Mountain” will look back at his life in the sports entertainment business that has seen him collect over-80 championships in promotions across the world and his foray into company ownership with the creation of NWA Total Nonstop Action (now known as Impact Wrestling) and Global Force Wrestling.
No one in the wrestling business has experienced the trials and tribulations, along with redemptions and longevity quite like Jarrett. And for the first time ever, listeners will be able to hear “The Chosen One” open up about all of the matches, moments and controversies that would often lead him to ask crowds, “Ain’t I great?”.
Conrad Thompson started podcasting in 2015 with sixteen time World HeavyWeight Champion Ric Flair’s Wooooo Nation on CBS’s platform Play.It. Shortly after, Conrad approached World Wrestling Entertainment Executive Bruce Prichard about doing a podcast with him and in August of 2016 Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard was born.
Since then Conrad has grown his podcast network to seven days a week with professional wrestling’s top wrestling figures such as former President of World Championship Wrestling Eric Bischoff, founder of the legendary Four Horsemen Arn Anderson, former World Championship Wrestling lead commentator / current All Elite Wrestling announcer Tony Schiavone and WWE Hall of Famer, fomer WWE lead commentator, current AEW lead commentator Jim Ross., Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle, founder and former owner of Total Non-Stop Action Jeff Jarrett and WWE hall of famers Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Diamond Dallas Page.
One of the most respected names in the history of professional wrestling, William Regal has led a storied career over nearly forty years. Beginning his career in his home country of England, Regal globetrotted the world, from Germany to South Africa, before joining WCW. After a long stint with WCW, Regal joined the WWF and remained part of the organization for more than twenty years, as an in-ring competitor, an on-screen authority figure, and, perhaps most importantly, a recruiter, coach, and mentor to the next generation of WWE Superstars.
Regal recently joined All Elite Wrestling, separating two of his mentees, Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley. Where this road leads to next, only Regal knows.
